Auch ganz friedliche Menschen können sich ganz plötzlich und unerwartet jemandem gegenübersehen, der Ärger will, und zwar jetzt und sofort. Auf eine solche Situation kann man sich durchaus vorbereiten, indem man ein paar kleine, überraschende Tipps berücksicht, die es vielleicht ermöglichen können, dem aggressiven Schläger zu entkommen. Oder, wenn dies nicht möglich sein sollte, ihm wenigstens nicht ganz wehrlos ausgeliefert zu sein.

    Nice ones.

    From reading excerpts of his writings, I would imagine that Eugene would readily add tip #3 to that:
    Start out by being a very large, aggressive black man, then lift lots of weights and take large quantities of anabolic steroids, interspaced with hard training sessions with professial shootfighters or Brazilian jiu-jitsu masters such as Frank Shamrock. Then beat people up.

    Oops I see that I forgot to explictly put [irony] and [/irony] brackets around that blurb, people might take that the wrong way.

    This time without irony: I really liked the video, and found Robinson’s performance good.

    Here is a serious tip #3 that you can also find corroborated by Robinson himself elsewhere: Keep your hands up. Even if they are palms-out in a “I want to trouble”-seeming pose, you have your cover up. Keeping your stomach muscles tense will let you take a blow to the stomach without getting ko’d, but any unprotected blow to the face is a ko, keep your face covered.
