Doch, das hatte wirklich Stil, NFL, musikalisch gesehen…

hätte es für den Auftaktsong des zum zweiten Mal in London stattfindenden Europa-Spiels der National Football League kaum eine bessere Wahl geben können als das: London Calling von Clash.
Das war eigentlich nicht nur stilvoll, sondern auch noch verdammt cool…

Und für alle, die vergessen haben wie der Song über den Ruf Londons an die “faraway towns” ging, weil

“Now war is declared – and battle come down, London calling to the underworld, Come out of the cupboard,you boys and girls, London calling, now don’t look at us, All that phoney Beatlemania has bitten the dust, London calling, see we ain’t got no swing, ‘cept for the reign of that truncheon thing”
